Sony is struggling to meet the demand of its latest gaming console, PlayStation 5 in several parts of the world including the US. Retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Target, etc restock the console but in a very limited quantity which leaves a very little chance that you’ll be able grab one before the listing says ‘Sold Out’ again.
So, how to find that PlayStation stock has arrived in a particular store? The simplest way one can think of is by manually refreshing the page and checking the stock. But, that’s cumbersome and not very practical.
To make things easier, there are several extensions and websites available that can do the hard work for you and notify you as soon as the stock arrives. All you need to do then is complete the billing process.
We gave a couple of extensions and websites a try and the one we found most feasible and easy to use is the OctoShop – In-Stock Alerts and Compare Prices Chrome extension.
This extension works on both Chrome and Edge web browser and offers several features starting from availability notification. Plus, it also compares the price of the product from different retailers on one page and help you save some money.
To use this, you’ll need to download the extension and navigate to the product page of any e-commerce site and click on the extension. From the extension popup click on the Store comparison button to see the current stock availability and compare prices.
To enable notifications, click on the option Notify when in Stock of a particular retail store.
