General Dynamics’ information technology business (NYSE: GD) has won a five-year, $ 219 million contract to help a National Security Department agency operate a contact center for immigration-related inquiries. reported Wednesday G2Xchange FedCiv.
The company will help U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services inform the public about the benefits and immigration services offered by the agency, under the contract awarded through the Administration’s information technology vehicle of general services.
GDIT must provide USCIS with level 0 and level 1 support.
The government made a competitive bid for the contract and put together a total of three proposals.
General Dynamics has also supported other agencies within DHS. The company helped the Security and Cybersecurity Agency provide emergency communications under a contract awarded in mid-2019.
