RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California., June 4, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) is proud to announce Dr. Edward Juhn as the new quality director. In this role, Dr. Juhn will partner with providers to ensure the health plan’s commitment to providing the highest quality of care to the communities they serve.

Dr. Juhn joined the IEHP most recently from Blue Shield of California, where he served as senior medical director and worked on initiatives that leveraged big data, advanced analytics, and technology-enabled service offerings that affect the fourfold goal and equity in health. He also managed responsible care organizations (ACOs) a Northern California and was part of the Blue Venture Fund’s clinical advisory group.
Dr. Juhn also has experience as a clinical scientist in an Intel-funded start-up company and served as head of health innovation and strategy at Premier HealthCare, where he was part of the New York, focusing on the needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Dr. Juhn received his BA and MD George Washington University, his executive MBA from New York University, and its MPH of Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Juhn is certified in internal medicine, a member of the American College of Physicians, and was a clinical instructor at Stanford Medicine. He has also been a member of the Interoperability Standards Priorities Working Group, a subcommittee of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC).
